Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Early Learners

The Registered Behavior Technician is responsible for implementing behavior analytic and evidence-based strategies and practices as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans and programming related to skill acquisition and behavior reduction.

  • Implement student Behavior Intervention Plans and behavioral strategies.

  • Collaborate with and follow directives from the BCBA.

  • Collect, record, and report daily data on student ABA programming and interfering behavior(s).

  • Demonstrate instructional control with students.

  • Maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification.

  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, continuing education, and/or training offered by Insight.

  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record and is punctual.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)

  • Two (2) plus years successful experience under the direct documented clinical supervision of a BCBA and has completed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification under the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

  • Specific experience working with students with high management needs

  • Participate in required crisis prevention strategies and restraint procedures training

  • Background check and current fingerprinting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Proven experience working with children ages 6 and under

Salary: $18 plus per hour; Performance-Based Pay

Location: Early Learners Program at Westlake, OH (Ability to commute/relocate)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours/week), year round
