Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Early Learners
The Registered Behavior Technician is responsible for implementing behavior analytic and evidence-based strategies and practices as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans and programming related to skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
Implement student Behavior Intervention Plans and behavioral strategies.
Collaborate with and follow directives from the BCBA.
Collect, record, and report daily data on student ABA programming and interfering behavior(s).
Demonstrate instructional control with students.
Maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, continuing education, and/or training offered by Insight.
Maintain an acceptable attendance record and is punctual.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Two (2) plus years successful experience under the direct documented clinical supervision of a BCBA and has completed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification under the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Specific experience working with students with high management needs
Participate in required crisis prevention strategies and restraint procedures training
Background check and current fingerprinting
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Proven experience working with children ages 6 and under
Salary: $18 plus per hour; Performance-Based Pay
Location: Early Learners Program at Westlake, OH (Ability to commute/relocate)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours/week), year round
