Insight Promotes Community at the Cleveland Marathon

It’s been a busy year for Insight. Just a little over a week ago, Insight Academy, our PreK-12 private school, sponsored one of Cleveland’s most cherished events: the Cleveland Marathon.

As a proud sponsor of the 2024 Cleveland Marathon’s Elite Program, our organization was able to provide awards for the elite athletes, helping to elevate the event’s stature and enhancing the overall experience for participants and spectators. “Insight Academy's commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with our mission to provide a world-class platform for athletes to showcase their talents,” said Race Director Ralph Staph.

Insight’s founder and CEO Jeremy D. Meduri had the privilege of personally awarding prize money to the winners of the race, which included Will Loevner, 1st place in the men’s division (who proposed to his girlfriend at the end of the race), and Ashton Swinford, 1st place in the women’s division (3-time Cleveland Marathon winner), among others. “This partnership represents a significant milestone for us,” said Meduri. “Our organizations share a deep dedication to fostering athletic achievement and community engagement.”

In addition to the Cleveland Marathon Sponsorship was a feature on WKYC’s “Good Company” in a segment titled “Helping Children Learn about Community!” Hosts Joe Cronauer and Katherine Boyd facilitated a discussion with Meduri and Insight’s Director of Patient Care, CLE Racing Co-Captain, and Cleveland Marathon Ambassador Lindsey Fascione about Insight Academy’s sponsorship, student-run hydration station, and newly launched programs.

The hydration station, organized by Speech-Language Pathologist Katie Ross, encouraged students, families, and staff to participate in race day activities, specifically setting up and providing fluids to runners during the race. The station functioned as a social skills event for students and helped foster a sense of community.

Also discussed in the segment were two new programs launched at Insight’s Westlake location: Insight Early Learners and Insight Psychiatric Clinic.

Insight Early Learners, our early intervention program, provides individualized support and services to young children ages 6 and under with autism and other developmental delays/disorders. Programs are culturally responsive, values-oriented, and individualized for each learner. Services include center-based intensive ABA therapy where each child is placed with an RBT in a 1:1 setting to develop their individual skills. This program focuses on transitioning children to new environments and developing the skills needed to thrive.

Insight Psychiatric Clinic, our mental health clinic, offers a wide range of services for the diagnosis and treatment of mental health and behavioral disorders. From psychiatric evaluations to ADOS testing, which can expedite the process for ABA therapy, to medication management for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and more. Another exciting treatment that we offer is Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy. TMS therapy an FDA-cleared, non-drug, non-invasive treatment that uses a magnetic field to influence brain activity, making long-term remission from depression a reality for many people. Both Early Learners and Psychiatric Clinic have no waitlists!

The Cleveland Marathon sponsorship and our new innovative programs embody the mission and vision of our organization: a company actively involved in its community and that provides a variety of needed services under one roof.
